Welcome to the 100-hour Khi Tam Hands-On Therapy Foundation Course!
We are thrilled to have you join the Khi Tam Therapy Academy and embark on this
journey to become a skilled hands-on therapist. This program is part of the 1200-hour Khi
Tam Diploma in Hands-On Therapy.
Upon successful completion of all modules, you will be awarded the Certificate in Khi Tam
Hands-on Therapy Foundation by the Khí Tâm Academy. Graduates will be qualified to
practice three professional skills: Khi Tam Massage Therapy, Khi Tam Facial Therapy,
and Khi Tam Lymphatic Drainage Therapy.
Course Overview
This hybrid training program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive
understanding of Khi Tam Therapy through a combination of self-paced e-learning, live
online classes, in-person instruction, and hands-on client practice.
Enrolment Checklist
To ensure a smooth start to your course, please ensure you have completed the following:

Student Terms and Conditions
By enrolling in the 100-hour Khi Tam Hands-On Therapy Foundation Course, you agree
to the following terms and conditions, which form part of the contract between you and
Khi Tam Therapy Academy. You also agree to be bound by and comply with the Khi Tam
Therapy Academy's regulations, policies, and procedures, your offer letter, and the Khi
Tam Tuition Fee Policy.
1. Introduction
This document details the relationship between Khi Tam Therapy Academy and its
students and forms part of the contract between you and the Academy.
When you accept an offer, you agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms &
Conditions.
You should read this and other referred documents carefully. The latest versions will apply.
2. Cancellation
You have a statutory right to cancel your contract with Khi Tam Therapy Academy within
14 days after the day on which you accepted the offer of a place. You do not have to give
a reason for the cancellation.
To cancel, you can send an email to booking@khitamtherapyuk.com or use a model cancellation form provided by the
Academy.
If your Programme commences within this 14-day period, you may no longer have the
right to cancel under this clause and must terminate your registration in accordance with
Section 10 below.
If a payment was made and you cancel within the 14-day period, Khi Tam Therapy
Academy will reimburse such payment in accordance with its Tuition Fee Policy. Refunds,
in appropriate cases, will be processed within 45 days after receiving the request.
No refunds will be issued after 7 days of the course offer acceptance date.
You may terminate your contract after the 14-day period, but you must do so in
accordance with Section 10 of these Terms & Conditions.
3. Offers, Admission & Registration
Before accepting an offer, check its details for completeness and accuracy. Contact Khi

These Terms & Conditions take effect when you accept Khi Tam Therapy Academy's
offer of admission.
You agree to accept an offer by following the steps and meeting deadlines in your offer
letter.
Acceptance implies compliance with any conditions set out in the offer.
Khi Tam Therapy Academy is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible
environment and strives to make reasonable adjustments for individual needs. Early
notification of disability enables more effective support. All offers are conditional upon the
Academy being able to implement the specific adjustments reasonably needed for you to
complete your Programme.
You must register with Khi Tam Therapy Academy and complete all required
documentation within two weeks of your Programme start date.
You may not be permitted to register if any of the following apply:
You do not show identification documents.
You have provided incorrect or misleading information.
You do not pay the Tuition Fees or provide payment information as required by the Tuition
Fee Policy.
You have an unpaid and outstanding debt to Khi Tam Therapy Academy.
You do not meet the conditions set out in your offer letter.
Once registered, you become a registered student of Khi Tam Therapy Academy.
4. Regulations, Policies & Procedures
You agree to observe Khi Tam Therapy Academy's regulations, policies, and procedures.
These include those published on the Khi Tam website and described in your Programme
documentation.
These documents contain important information on expected behavior, academic
misconduct, engagement, attendance, illness procedures, progression, assessment, and
how to raise complaints.
Key provisions include: attendance expectations, academic progress, rules on academic
misconduct (e.g., plagiarism), the code of conduct, and fitness to practice and
professional standards of behavior. Failure to observe these may result in disciplinary
action, academic penalties, or expulsion.
Khi Tam Therapy Academy reserves the right to make reasonable changes to its
regulations, policies, and procedures, which will normally come into effect at the start of
a subsequent academic year unless required sooner.
5. Your Programme of Study
Khi Tam Therapy Academy will provide you with a place on the "100-hour Khi Tam Hands
On Therapy Foundation Course" as set out in your offer letter and course documentation.
Khi Tam Therapy Academy will make reasonable efforts to deliver your Programme as
described and provide tuition and learning support with reasonable care and skill,
including timely feedback.
You will be examined in accordance with Khi Tam Therapy Academy's assessment
regulations.
Provided you meet registration, fee, and qualification criteria, Khi Tam Therapy Academy
shall confer on you the Certificate in Khi Tam Hands-on Therapy Foundation.
6. Fees & Additional Costs
The tuition fee for this programme is £2,900 + VAT. You agree to comply with Khi Tam
Therapy Academy's Tuition Fee Policy for payment.
Failure to pay fees may result in sanctions, including withdrawal of access to services,
withholding results, or not permitting graduation.
Additional mandatory costs include the Khi Tam 7-Tool Kit for £250 (incl. VAT). An
optional 1-hour private coaching session is available for £200. Other costs may include
travel to Khí Tâm Health Hub for practicals if not local.
Khi Tam Therapy Academy will consult and inform you of any changes to additional costs.
7. Our Obligations to You
Khi Tam Therapy Academy will make every reasonable effort to provide appropriate
access to academic and other resources, including learning resources, IT infrastructure,
pastoral and learning support, and career advice.
Khi Tam Therapy Academy will have appropriate regulations and policies in place, made
available to you and operated fairly and reasonably.
8. Your Obligations to Us
You agree to behave respectfully to all members of the Khi Tam Therapy Academy
community. You will participate reasonably in Academy procedures and comply with any
sanctions.
You are responsible for your learning and will pursue studies conscientiously, utilizing
available resources.
You will attend live online classes, in-person training, and client sessions, submit
assignments, and undertake examinations unless agreed otherwise due to extenuating
circumstances.
You will use your personal email account for all formal communications with Khi Tam
Therapy Academy, as instructed. It is your responsibility to check this email account daily
for important communications.
You will take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and cooperate
with Khi Tam Therapy Academy's obligations in this regard. You will not intentionally
misuse or interfere with equipment or facilities provided by Khi Tam Therapy Academy.
You agree to disclose details of any criminal conviction received during your time at Khi
Tam Therapy Academy that would have prevented registration at the outset.
You will keep your contact information up to date and promptly inform Khi Tam Therapy
Academy of any changes.
You agree to provide feedback about your course and student experience when required.
9. Complaints and Appeals
Khi Tam Therapy Academy has policies for making complaints.
Following registration, you may raise a complaint about your Programme or any other
aspect of Khi Tam Therapy Academy's service in accordance with its Student Complaints
Policy & Procedure.
You may also appeal against assessment decisions in accordance with Khi Tam Therapy
Academy's Academic Appeals Policy.
10. Termination of your Student Registration by You
You may withdraw from Khi Tam Therapy Academy and terminate your registration at
any time by following the procedure described in its Suspension of Studies & Withdrawal
Policy.
If you withdraw, you will be liable for the Tuition Fees for the academic year in accordance
with the Tuition Fee Policy.
11. Termination of your Student Registration by Us
Khi Tam Therapy Academy may withdraw your offer or terminate your registration if any
of the following apply:
You do not pay the Tuition Fees.
You have provided false, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information.
You do not complete your registration at the beginning of the academic year.
A decision is made that you may not continue as a student in accordance with Khi Tam
Therapy Academy's regulations.
You fail to meet progression or award requirements.
You are unable to fulfill any Programme requirement, including obtaining/maintaining
membership of specified organizations.
Your behavior represents a serious risk to health, safety, or welfare following an
investigation under the Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Procedure or Fitness to Practice
and Professional Behaviour Policy.
Upon termination, you will be liable for Tuition Fees for the academic year in accordance
with the Tuition Fee Policy, along with any other debt owed.
If you have overpaid, Khi Tam Therapy Academy will reimburse the proportion of fees.
On termination, you are required to return any Khi Tam Therapy Academy property.
12. Changes to Your Student Registration
If you wish to change your registration status (e.g., defer, suspend studies, change study
mode), you must contact Khi Tam Therapy Academy (e.g., Course Leader, Student
Support Officer, Admissions Team).
No changes are binding unless agreed in writing by Khi Tam Therapy Academy.
13. Changes To Your Programme
Khi Tam Therapy Academy may make changes to your Programme before or after
registration to reflect best practice and academic developments, improve the Programme,
meet regulatory requirements, respond to staff changes, legislation, or incorporate
student feedback.
You will be consulted and informed of changes in writing as far in advance as reasonably
possible, with efforts to mitigate negative impact.
Changes may apply if you defer entry or suspend studies.
If you do not agree to a change, you may raise a complaint or withdraw, and Khi Tam
Therapy Academy will offer reasonable support for transfer to another provider if required.
In exceptional circumstances, Khi Tam Therapy Academy may discontinue a Programme
if recruitment numbers are so low that it is not possible to deliver an appropriate quality
of education, and will assist students in transferring to an alternative programme or
provider.
14. Suspension by Khi Tam Therapy Academy
Khi Tam Therapy Academy may suspend your registration in accordance with its policies,
typically for investigation of misconduct, as a disciplinary sanction, or if your attendance
poses a risk to health/safety/welfare.
You have the right to appeal against a suspension.
15. Our Liability to You
Khi Tam Therapy Academy is responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by
its failure to meet obligations, unless attributable to your fault or a third party's.
Liability is not limited for death or personal injury caused by Khi Tam Therapy Academy's
negligence, or for fraud.
Khi Tam Therapy Academy excludes liability for: damage/theft/loss of your property
(unless due to its negligence), non-return of submitted work, loss from procedural breach
if it would have occurred anyway, death/personal injury not caused by its negligence,
and indirect/consequential loss.
Any other liability is limited to the greater of fees paid or the amount received from insurers.
Khi Tam Therapy Academy is not liable for delays or failures due to matters outside its
control which could not have been foreseen or prevented (e.g., strikes, power failure,
natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic, war, riot, terrorist attack or the threat of one,
government restrictions). In such cases, Khi Tam Therapy Academy will minimize
disruption but may cancel, delay, or change the Programme.
16. Data Protection
Khi Tam Therapy Academy will collect, hold, and process your personal data ("personal
data") in order to meet its obligations to you and for the purposes stated in its Privacy
Notice for Applicants & Students published on its website.
17. Other Important Terms
If any part of these Terms & Conditions becomes void, the rest remains in full force and
effect.
Failure or delay to enforce any breach does not constitute a waiver.
Inconsistencies between these Terms & Conditions and other contract information, these
Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales and any legal
proceedings shall be brought in the English courts.
Specific Terms for International Students (Visa Holders)
Please read these terms carefully if you require a visa to study in the United Kingdom.
No Visa Responsibility: Khi Tam Therapy Academy is not a Tier 4 visa sponsor and
cannot provide immigration advice or sponsorship for your visa application. The Academy
bears no responsibility for your visa application, its outcome, or your compliance with
immigration rules.
Right to Study: Your offer of a place at Khi Tam Therapy Academy is conditional upon
you having, and maintaining throughout the duration of your course, the legal right to
study in the United Kingdom.
Visa Compliance is Your Responsibility: It is your sole responsibility to research, apply
for, and obtain the appropriate visa that permits you to undertake this course. You must
ensure you fully understand and comply with all conditions of your visa.
Information Requests: Khi Tam Therapy Academy may request information and
documents from you to confirm your right to study in the UK. You must comply with such
requests within a reasonable timeframe.
Consequences of Non-Compliance: If you do not have the correct visa documentation,
do not have the right to study in the United Kingdom, or fail to provide necessary
information, Khi Tam Therapy Academy may refuse registration or terminate your
registration (whether immediately or otherwise) and withdraw you from your Programme.
No Refunds for Visa Issues: In the event that your visa application is unsuccessful, or
your visa is revoked, or you otherwise lose your right to study in the UK, the standard
refund policy for course fees (as outlined in Khi Tam's Tuition Fee Policy and above in
Section 2) will apply. Khi Tam Therapy Academy will not issue special refunds or
exceptions due to visa-related issues beyond what is stated in its general refund policy.
Health Protection
Your health and safety, as well as that of your fellow students and clients, are paramount.
Please adhere to the following health protection guidelines:
- Hygiene: Maintain excellent personal hygiene, especially before and after practical
sessions.
- Illness: If you are feeling unwell or experiencing any symptoms of illness, please do not
attend in-person classes. Inform the Academy immediately.
- First Aid: Familiarize yourself with the location of first aid kits at the in-person training
venue.
- Safe Practice: Always follow instructor guidance on safe practice, including correct
posture, handling of tools, and client interaction.
- Contraindications: You will learn to recognize contraindications for therapy to ensure
client safety. It is crucial to apply this knowledge diligently.
Privacy Policy
Khi Tam Therapy Academy is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines
how we collect, use, and protect your personal information:
- Information Collection: We collect personal information during the enrolment process,
including your name, contact details, and any relevant health information you disclose for
the purpose of your training.
- Usage of Information: Your information will be used for course administration,
communication regarding your studies, assessment purposes, and to ensure your safety
during practical sessions.
Client Confidentiality: Khi Tam Therapy Academy places the highest importance on client
confidentiality. During your practical training at Khí Tâm Health Hub, you will be handling
sensitive client information. You are legally and ethically bound to maintain strict
confidentiality of all client data, including personal details, health conditions, and
treatment specifics. Any therapy logs or case studies you maintain must be anonymized
and stored securely to protect client privacy. Breaches of client confidentiality will be
treated with utmost seriousness and will be subject to disciplinary action as outlined in
the Academy's Code of Conduct and Fitness to Practice policies.
- Data Security: We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal data
from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Course Fee
- Course Fee: £2,900 + VAT.
- Payment Schedule: Please refer to your enrolment agreement for specific payment
deadlines and installment options, if applicable.
Ordering Your Tools and Uniform
Khi Tam 7-Tool Kit: The Khi Tam 7-Tool Kit is a mandatory purchase for the course and
costs £250 (including VAT). This specialized and exclusive set of tools, meticulously
designed according to the Khi Tam Therapy method , support the natural healing process
safely and effectively by releasing tension points, enhancing energy circulation, and
readjusting the musculoskeletal structure. You will use them for detecting muscle, tendon,
and ligament compression points, releasing soft tissue blockages, and restoring joint and
spinal flexibility. Information on how to order this kit will be provided separately upon
enrolment.
Important Note on Tool Usage: This toolset has been developed exclusively for direct
practice and therapeutic application within the Khi Tam Therapy system. Using these tools with unrelated therapy methods or without guidance from Khi Tam may result in
incorrect techniques and reduced therapeutic effectiveness. Any copying, misuse, or
combining with other methods without formal permission from the Khi Tam Therapy
Academy is strictly prohibited.
Uniform: While a specific uniform is not explicitly mentioned, it is advisable to wear
comfortable, modest, and professional attire suitable for practical therapy sessions. You
may be required to wear specific clothing during client practice sessions at Khí Tâm
Health Hub. Further guidance will be provided during your initial online sessions.
Fitness Practice Policies
During practical sessions, especially those involving hands-on practice, it is important to
adhere to policies that ensure a safe and effective learning environment:
Proper Posture and Ergonomics: Instruction will be provided on correct posture and
ergonomic techniques to prevent injuries.
